Cashews

Mild and buttery in flavour, cashews bring body to gravies, a gentle crunch to a snack and contrast to a mixed handful.

Character

Soft curves. Creamy character.

Forms

Whole kernels, halves and pieces

Choose with purpose

Match the cut and preparation to your intended use.

At home in the kitchen

Blend food-grade cashews into a smooth cooking paste, add pieces to a vegetable pulao, or toast gently for a savoury topping. Use a recipe to guide soaking and cooking rather than treating all preparations alike.

What to look for

Whole cashews and broken pieces serve different needs. Ask about size, grade, processing and whether the product is plain, salted or seasoned. A larger whole kernel is not automatically the best choice for a paste.

For a wholesale brief

Start with the intended use, preferred form, quantity and packaging needs. Grade, sample approval, availability, pricing and supply terms need to be agreed separately; this guide is not a statement of stock availability.
